Bengu Mete is a Ph.D. student in the Chemical Engineering department of Texas Tech University. Her research focuses on electrothermally driven membrane distillation for ammonia recovery from wastewater. Bengu is also Events Lead of the CASFER Student Leadership Council (SLC).
