About the event
O.L. Slaton Middle School students got to enjoy a day of STEM learning in the Maddox Engineering Research Center on Texas Tech's campus. CASFER scholars lead the 7th and 8th grade students in an exciting day of learning about Engineering. These students learned about fuel cell technology and chemistry and engaged in a fuel cell car race. They also learned what it would be like to be a chemical engineer. This Project Lead the Way event was hosted by CASFER and the Texas Tech STEM CORE.Â
