About the Role
Assistant in the planning and development of communication for information about programs to maintain a favorable public and stakeholder perceptions of the organization's accomplishments or agenda.
Bachelor's degree in a related field plus one (1) year related experience; OR a combination of related education and/or experience to equal five (5) years.
Works alongside the Executive Administrative Director, and in coordination with the Office of Communications & Marketing, to organize publicity for CASFER, including producing news releases Builds upon already developed CASFER website and provides maintenance to existing pages. Keeps apprised of website trends, activity and provides and develops alternatives to sustain active media traction
Manages social media accounts for CASFER
Works with the Government Liaison Board, and in coordination with the Office of Communications & Marketing and the Office of Research Development & Communications, to develop signature print, video and other media content targeting local, state and federal government agencies.
Works with the Industry Practitioner Advisory Board to develop signature print, video and other media content targeting industry
Develops brochures and other media communication to increase the visibility of CASFER, for fundraising and for recruitment of different stakeholders to CASFER
Develops and maintains templates for presentations, posters, newsletters, and other media format for CASFER
