Jorge Del'Angel is a current graduate student at Florida A&M University pursuing Civil Engineering and serves on the inaugural Student Leadership Council, as the SLC's Safety Lead. His background is in sustainability with his bachelors degree in Biological & Agricultural Systems Engineering concentration in Natural Resources Conservation.

His past research has been in crop development, best management practices, and landfill methane emissions. After finishing his graduate studies, he plans to work internationally to assist developing countries with any food insecurity issues. He is a member of Alpha Chi Sigma professional chemistry fraternity and Alpha Kappa Mu honor society.
