William Tarpeh

Scientific Advisory Board

William Tarpeh is an assistant professor of chemical engineering at Stanford University. The Tarpeh Lab develops catalytic and separation processes to convert wastewater contaminants into valuable products, including fertilizers and commodity chemicals. He aims to advance circular economies in chemical manufacturing by leveraging electrochemical driving forces, solute-selective materials, reactive separations, and reaction engineering. Will completed his B.S. in chemical engineering at Stanford, M.S. and Ph.D. in environmental engineering at UC Berkeley, and postdoctoral training at the University of Michigan.
