CASFER utilizes several advisory boards to help ensure the success of our Center and make sure that everything is running smoothly. According to the National Science Foundation, advisory boards for Engineering Research Centers should "reinforce and support the proper functioning of the ERC's foundational components."
The CASFER advisory boards are designed to give proper support and expertise for the main pillars of CASFER, which include Research, Engineering Workforce Development, Diversity and Culture of Inclusion, and our Innovation Ecosystem. The CASFER boards act as liaisons between important members of CASFER (such as industry partners or students) and the CASFER leadership team.
Our advisory boards give valuable insight and feedback to various CASFER projects and research opportunities. The CASFER team leverages the cumulitive expertise of all of our advisory boards to create a productive environment of innovation, collaboration, and integration across all CASFER members.
