Senior Director for Inclusive Workforce Development and Education

Ms. Gracia has been with Texas Tech University since 2013, when she joined the Whitacre College of Engineering as Director of Special Projects transitioning in 2015 to Assistant Academic Dean for International Programs.  In this role, she grew international partnerships, study abroad participation and inclusive opportunities for minority students and those under financial hardship and hosted a yearly Research for Undergraduate summer program for international students.

Before TTU, Zaida worked in Puerto Rico at the Universidad del Sagrado Corazon as a Mathematics professor, directed several STEM federal grants to increase participation of underrepresented minorities, lead curriculum development and assessment projects and chaired their Science Department among others.
