Dr. Ozhan Gecgel is a Senior Project and Development Engineer working at CASFER at Texas Tech University responsible for testbed design and manufacturing. He has a master’s degree in mechanical design and manufacturing from Middle East Technical university (Turkey) and Ph.D. degree in mechanical engineering from Texas Tech University with experience of over 9 years. His research topics include diagnostics machine/deep learning, signal processing, electrochemical biosensors, computational fluid dynamics, scale-up of electrochemical reactors, and wastewater treatment.

He is an active member of the American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME) and The Electrochemical Society (ECS).
